Art lessons are usually 1 hour per week on a set day and time. However, 2 hour blocks are recommended for oil painting. Workshops, seminars or special events are available upon request.
Prices listed are dollars per hour of instruction. Please note supply fees are in addition to these teaching rates.
Private Art Lessons afford personal instruction to one student on the subject of his/her preference in the media of his/her choice.
2 or 3 students in pre-arranged groups (parent-child, siblings or friends).
Instruction is given to all students and individual help is available as needed.
Supplies fees are charged monthly to cover supplies, tools, safety gear, cleaning supplies, etc. related to each media.
Most media included: Drawing, Acrylic, Watercolor, Charcoal, Pen & Ink.
I'm open to learning and teaching new media. One student requested wood burnishing; so I invested and investigated it and now I teach it. However, adding new tools and materials to the studio may incur additional costs. Likewise, using real gold leaf for illuminated initials increases expense.
Media, tools, kiln access, glaze, and transportation all increase expense.
